Burrowing Owl
Burrowing Owl-California-January-2018. This adorable little owl was spotted by farmlands in the Salton Sea area of California. When I came upon him there was a roadrunner standing just next to the owl. The roadrunner quickly left upon my arrival. Hmmmmm.....had the owls life been in jeopardy? The little owl stood its ground and did not falter by my presence or the roadrunners presence.
