Greetings. Here in Maine for a few months and enjoying the beautiful nature that abounds. This photo was taken at a quiet town inlet along the shoreline. Young Merganser siblings basking in the morning amidst the rocks after an early morning of fishing and swimming. Mother merganser is close by keeping an eye on her brood. This merganser family is a delight to watch as they grow and learn along the waters edge. What a pleasure to enjoy a lazy, lovely summer in Maine with the birds. Greetings from the Shooting Nomads. We are here in Maine and just settling in to enjoy the beautiful nature and wildlife. Sharing with you a sweet little scene from the local park harbor here in Ellesworth, Maine. Quack, Quack Says The Little Duck Bright eyed little duck waking up from an afternoon nap. You can see the gentle love and affection glowing from his mothers eyes. After a few yawns and stretches, these two were off for a swim. Quack, quack said the little duck and off they went!
