Pronghorn (Alfalfa) (904)
Pronghorn (Alfalfa) (904)
This lovely pronghorn was grazing with a group of 4 others along a desert field in Utah. The little hair tuff won him the name of Alfalfa! Initially the herd moved away but upon my quiet demeanor came closer back to the area that they preferred for morning grazing. I decided that they may like a little morning tune and rather than running off, Alfalfa listened intently and seamed to enjoy my morning song. I had been here several years ago and had the opportunity to photograph pronghorn in this same area. This time around, I think I will try to name the herd with the chance of following them over the years.
Photographed in Grand County, Utah.
