Little Lady

This little madam was our first true encounter with an opportunity to photography peacocks. Initially she was displaying and protecting her ground. Slowly we moved around her and gave plenty of space. Before long she gave way to curiosity and became our closest companion. As we walked around Tom Bolack's Ranch, in New Mexico, this little lady followed us wherever we went. I think she was attracted to my husband as he was wearing a similarly colored blue jacket.
