Desert wildlife in Bishop California brings a wide variety of birds. There are many water canals along the town which feed into the Owens River. These canals are a haven for birds and wildlife to refresh from the desert landscape. This beauty of a roadrunner was working his way along the shrub lined canal in search of a tasty morsel. He seemed to have little concern of my presence nearby and graced me with a few poses before darting back into the brush. Beep! Beep! www.shootingnomads.com
