Greetings from the Shooting Nomads! We are back in the lower 48 and staying in Bishop, California. The warmer weather feels delicious! We are looking forward to some beautiful bird, nature and landscape photography during our stay here. This lovely White Crowned Sparrow at the Millpond Park was a great photo catch to get our adventures started. www.shootingnomads.com
Desert wildlife in Bishop California brings a wide variety of birds. There are many water canals along the town which feed into the Owens River. These canals are a haven for birds and wildlife to refresh from the desert landscape. This beauty of a roadrunner was working his way along the shrub lined canal in search of a tasty morsel. He seemed to have little concern of my presence nearby and graced me with a few poses before darting back into the brush. Beep! Beep! www.shootingnomads.com
A rescued Praying Mantis from the hot desert sun in Bishop, California. Gently removed from a hot parking lot and released back into the wild. Now seen contemplating the next move towards freedom. Continuing on the path of the Buddha. www.shootingnomads.com
