Farmland Coyote of California. Photographed in Lodi, California at dusk along the field edge. This coyote had come down to the water canal for a drink and possible evening feast of bird or squirrel drinking from the water. Lodi is well known for its many wineries. It is home to sweeping grape and cherry vineyards. In addition it is a wonderful location for bird and wildlife viewing along these rural farmlands.
