This is a cave in the Los Angeles area but has been tricky to shoot as the timing was not working out for me. The tide and clouds finally came together during sunset late December.
It was a mad scramble up a steep hill near Trinidad Beach in order to catch the sun before it hid behind the clouds.
The wave action along the Hwy-1 coast can be amazing and mesmerizing to say the least especially on a windy day as huge waves crash against the rugged coastline. The sounds can be deafening as big waves crash against the rocks. This long exposure capture however presents a more mellow view of the actual scene.
